Five years ago we began as a small group of Kingston women raising money for a new playground at Gray's Beach. Once our goal was acheived we continued to feel the drive for more fundraising inititiatives.

During the summer of 2006 seven of us participated in the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk raising $15,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  It was then we officially became "The Soul Sisters" and began our quest to raise money for women's health issues and our communities.Today our group has grown to 17 women.

Two years ago our efforts became very personal as one of our members, Paula Cazeault, was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer.  It was clear without speaking words that this was our cause for 2008 & the foreseeable future.
